imaco's EPC improvement projects starts with a site visit to collect the relevant dimensions and information to produce a current ‘baseline’ EPC. We then use detailed energy improvement modelling to provide the options and associated budget costs to achieve the required improvement in EPC rating for the building.

What is an EPC?

An Energy Performance Certificate tells potential buyers and tenants about the energy performance of a building so that they can consider energy efficiency as part of their investment or business decision to buy or occupy that building.

EPC certificates are based on a calculated energy efficiency for a building taking into account a number of variables. The ratings range from A to G, where A is very efficient and G is the least efficient. All EPCs come with a recommendation report (RR) which includes advice and suggestions on improvements to save energy and reduce carbon emissions.
